About the platform

Roblox is the world’s most popular gaming platform

More than 120 million people from 180+ countries open Roblox every day. They don’t watch ads — they spend time inside games. That’s why a branded Roblox game means hours of real contact with young audiences.

Brands on Roblox

How Roblox players feel about brands

On Roblox, a brand is part of the game, not an ad people scroll past. Here’s what players themselves say

Safety

Some of the strictest safety rules among gaming platforms

Roblox is responsible for a young audience, so every game, item and message is checked. For a brand, this means your game lives in a safe, controlled environment

Mandatory age checks

Since January 2026, chat worldwide is available only after an age check: facial age estimation or ID

Chat with peers only

Players talk to people of a similar age. Messages are filtered, links and personal info are blocked, and images can’t be sent in chat

Moderation before publishing

Images, audio, video and 3D models are reviewed before they appear in a game. Violations are blocked automatically and by moderators

Content maturity labels

Every game completes a content questionnaire and gets a label. By default, kids only see games suitable for their age

Parental controls

Parents manage their child’s account from their own: playtime, spending, chat and which games are available

Rules for brands

Branded games and ads follow separate Roblox standards. We build games that meet every platform requirement
